About Scott Lindberg
Scott Lindberg began his career in the mortgage industry in 2007, shortly after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Global Studies and four years of competing as a member of the Division 1 men’s swimming team. He joined a well-respected team as a loan officer assistant and learned the business from the ground up.
Over the next several years, he moved through various roles in the loan origination process, learning not only all aspects of the sales function, but also the inner workings of the operations and post-closing departments. Because he’s served as a loan officer assistant, sales integration specialist, processor, and post-closing coordinator, he is uniquely qualified and understands each step of the process in depth.¬† This knowledge allows him to streamline the borrower experience and ensure each transaction is handled with efficiency and accuracy.
In his current role as a Licensed Mortgage Professional and Team Captain, he originates purchase, refinance, and home equity mortgages, supports the Lampson Team, and focuses on making certain each transaction stays on track from start to finish and all parties involved are kept informed throughout.
Scott lives in Santa Barbara, CA with his wife Taylor and their two cats, Mr. Keats and Cinder. He volunteers as a Board Member for the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table and with the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum. You might find him winding down after work on the sand at East Beach, swimming a few laps at Los Banos Pool, or hiking one of the many beautiful trails in the Santa Ynez mountains.
