About Felecia Bowers

Felecia serves as the SVP Director of Compliance and Servicing for HFG. Her compliance career spans 35+ years starting with the Federal Savings & Loan Insurance Corporation (FSLIC) and the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) in the 1980‚ Previously she served 15 years as the SVP and Compliance Officer for Placer Sierra Bank before it was acquired by Wells Fargo & Company. At Placer, she was in charge of Compliance, Community Reinvestment Act, Quality control, Secondary Marketing, pricing and hedging and the selling of loans on the secondary market including SBA loans. She also served as the Chief Compliance Officer for Sierra Pacific Mortgage for 13 years where her responsibilities included the management of the company‚ regulatory compliance program, licensing, third party vendor management, state and federal exams, internal audit and training. She managed the Human Resources Department there for five years. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) via the Institute of Certified Bankers since 1993 and she holds a HUD certification as a Direct Endorsement Underwriter.
